It's just so many things that a person can come in here and look at and see the resemblance of maybe what grandma had.
In the Hermantown Historical Society Center.
It's so important that people know.
this is exactly what people live like.
And we do have students that come from Hermantown schools and they tour it and they're amazed.
They don't even know what some of these things are.
So we do a unit on community, and we thought this would be a fabulous place to take our third graders so they can learn about the Hermantown community, and they get to go back in time and see their families histories.
Here on this wall.
They have all the farms, early farms and dairy farmers in Hermantown.
Weigh the egg here and you put the light behind it and you candle it.
So, and how to make an egg carton.
This is a one room school.
This shows a very good two room school.
And this is the night after the 1918 fire.
The fire department.
It was developed in 1951.
And this is a Jackson House.
This is the development of it.
Oh.
It's fantastic.
I'm a big history buff.
Keep the, the history alive because you can't change history.
So.
Well done.

I think it's important we, honor the Hermantown fallen military, and there's a list there of them.
Accuracy was so important of everything we're preserving.
I've been a genealogist since I was nine years old.
Just keeping everything means everything.
