We have events happening all over the community.
I'm Kimberly Parmeter, I'm the president and CEO of the Hermantown Area Chamber of Commerce.
And today we're celebrating Hermantown Summerfest.
Today at the Chamber of Commerce, our Hermantown Square, our neighbors in our complex, were hosting a root beer float.
We have events happening all over the community.
Nine.
Seven.
Six.
Yeah.
Summerfest was created many years ago by a group of volunteers, committed to bringing business and community together.
Different restaurants have and, banks have different, pop up activities as well.
I used to come to these events as a child, and I think it's very important to keep the community tradition alive.
I think it's wonderful because I think it's community driven.
It's about community, about being together and just sharing those special moments.
(Horn honking) The parade just brings people together.
You get to see the neat floats and businesses in the parade.
They throw candy for the kids.
This year marks the 50th anniversary for the city of Hermantown.
a fantastic idea for our chamber members to be involved because, strong, strong communities thrive when there's a healthy business community.
