Hi, I'm Sam Griggsby.

I am running for Minnesota House District 6A um here in Minnesota.

I am running because I want to be a strong voice focused on the issues that matter to the communities in District 6A.

I think everyone in our district should have a voice.

I think they should be able to cross party lanes and talk and be able to listen to everyone's ideas and thoughts and and take value from them.

My life and work experience I think gives me a good start on being be able to be a Minnesota legislator.

I've spent over 30 years in public service as a firefighter, EMT.

Uh currently I am with the Grand Rapids Police Department as a reserve officer and a full-time security officer at the Ita Grand Itaska Hospital in Grand Rapids, Minnesota.

I've also got 30 plus years as a ski patroller at Mount Itasa and Colerrain and I have worked tirelessly on boards for several nonprofits in the Grand Rapids area.

Also worked with the High State High School League as a official for football, basketball, softball, and baseball and as a coach for an archery team with Hill City School District for several years with my sons shooting archery for the NAS program in the schools.

I've also worked with theater groups in Grand Rapids.

I've worked hard in my communities to better my community to think we need to be able to step forward for affordability issues for families.

We need strong rural schools, which means funding, stable funding for these schools.

We need strong rural health care.

We need to work with the nursing staffs to make sure we have safe staffing for nurses.

We also need to be able to work with financial accountability to account for the tax dollars spent by people for the people by the state.

Every dollar counts.

We can't afford to lose a penny of it.

We need to look at areas to protect like our environmental areas.

We rely on a lot of tourism in northern Minnesota.

We need to protect those areas in that.

and especially around the Crosby area.

We have the Caillunas Country State Recreation Area which draws about 400,000 visitors to the Crosby area every year.

We need to keep protecting these areas.

We need to find stable jobs in our areas and be able to bring in new businesses and economically, but we also have to be environmentally sound for this world.

We need to take care of everyone.

For me, it is about taking care of the people and making sure everybody has that voice in the district.

It's not being able to cross party lines to be able to make sure that what happens for the greater good of our communities.

I'm Sam Griggsby and I'm asking for your vote on November 3rd from Minnesota House District 6A here in Minnesota.

Thank you.
