The slice from PBS North.

So I grew up just across the Lake Pontchartrain, from from New Orleans, on the Mississippi side of the Mississippi Louisiana border.

And, but it was basically New Orleans Or like a suburb, if you will.

My dad played guitar and keyboards, organ and bands.

when he was in high school.

I really lucked out because there's always music in my house.

And so then I would just sit around and play those, you know, whatever I could play.

And so from the very beginning, it was singer songwriter music: an ace is an ace music: a red queen on the side music: the colors the dealer dealt me on the night that I died Music was always around.

Still is.

Came to Duluth and it's all around here.

I love it.

to all the people who live here.

To our folks who come to the shows.

And who are enthusiastic about music and art and just so cool I never heard of Duluth two years before I moved here.
