We read through a lot of scripts with committees that, that look at it and try to figure out just, okay, here's a good show.

Where can we do it?

My name is Pete Pellinen and, I am with Stages of the Range Players, which is a group that takes productions out to local communities here in the Quad Cities area, Virginia, Eveleth, Mountain Iron and Gilbert.

And we get out, into communities that don't generally get the chance to host things like this.

and, takes, shows out to existing facilities, that generally are not theaters.

So we have to bring our own lights and our sound systems and, it's a lot harder, but in many ways, it's a lot more rewarding just because you get to introduc We do radio plays, performances in nursing homes.

Some of those that that people remember.

We hire ourselves out to go to people's homes to do play readings, kind of as a party or script reading and, just all of a sudden people might say, hey, I could do that.

And our next auditions, there they are.

People who really have no clue that they ever wanted to be on a play or in a play, and somehow we find a way to gather them in.
