We're having our unveiling up in Gichi-ode' Akiing park which is right above the murals.
And it's been a long time coming.
There is a lot going on throughout these murals.
Obviously, it's a big maze.
So we've painted all of the walls that are, you know, on the ramps as well as the staircases.
And we've got a mix of maybe four or five different themes.
So we have our community painted walls, which is most of the fish.
We've had over 500 people contribute fish designs or actually paint on the wall.
We've got our maps which detail Chief Buffalo's journey to Washington, D.C. and we have some more realistic walls that show contemporary indigenous people.
And those walls reference photos taken by, I think, vinyl.
And then we have walls that are dedicated to floral, that are, you know, traditional in our culture and athletic as Ojibwe people.
We have some walls that are dedicated more to our creation story and to folklore and to sort of the different mythologies of Ojibwe people.
So a little taste of everything.
