I'm Dustin Heckman.

I'm the director here at Glensheen mansion.

So our lantern tours are an opportunity for folks to come through and see the mansion and all of its details, just by the glow of a lantern and a flashlight.

This is a great experience for folks who mayb have taken a traditional tour, and they want to come back and see Glensheen in a different way.

It's a guided experience.

It's offered only in October.

And folks really enjoy this ambiance and the experience.

You get to explore the grounds at night after your tour is just an amazing experience for folks to see Glensheen differently, and maybe inspire them to come back for a different type of tour in the future.

I think my favorite thing about the Lantern tours is just it's another way to open up that history of the mind and family and bring people in.

We know we're not trying to be spooky with it.

We're not trying to go in or anything like that.

It's literally just telling their story and showing off the details of the mansion, which this mansion has exquisite details.

And I cannot, you know, you can't see everything on on tour and just getting folks in to see that and enjoying that experience as a family friendly activity The Slice from PBS North
